Mercatovecchio Luxury Suites

“Mercatvecchio Luxury Suites” is made up of six luxurious small apartments, for the use of the tourist or the manager, with a kitchenette and equipped with every comfort, which can accommodate two to four people. Uniqueness is in being able to blend the unique atmospheres of the most fascinating places in the world through the design and elegance of movie history.
Inside the residence you immerse yourself in a bright, comfortable and refined environment: an ideal place for any traveler who makes beauty a value not only aesthetic but also spiritual. The beautiful apartments, furnished with taste and refinement, combined with a perfect blend, are embellished with the finest materials, wood and iron worked exclusively by experienced and wise craftsmen.
The rooms that make up them recall places and sensations thanks to a perfect perfusion of ornaments, exotic animals depicted in the walls thanks, also, to the beautiful wallpaper and refined decorative motifs that capture the attention and curiosity of the guests. The distinctive feature of the structure is the setting of the six suites, each of which represents a true journey into the scenography of some famous film.
The room decorations identify the apartments with the names of so many Hollywood feature films: “My Africa”, “A passage to India”, “Gorky Park”, “The Darjeeling Limited”, “Casablanca” and ” The last Emperor”.
The latter, in particular, is a true imperial suite, an open space with a canopy bed made by handful craftwork, with a view of the Castle of Udine thanks to high windows and, also, equipped with a Finnish sauna. The uniqueness of the sought-after interior spaces offers an indispensable sight for the eyes and for the heart.
For this space, various woods have been used, from oak, cedar, to whitewashed boards, handcrafted by our carpenters. To this, several iron elements, made by our blacksmiths, have been associated to create a perfect union. We wanted to get out of the plans, designing something unique, because everyone van do simple things, but Casabella Grattoni1892 seeks the difference and uniqueness in its products. With this premise and with this project we also launches our new brand Grattoni1892, which is the research for alive woods that have a story to tell, craftsmanship, passions that come together in the creation of unique tables, unique stories, of a dream.
We use some of the finest essences: from millennial Kauri wood with its 50,000 years old to French oak, and American walnut of Canada. We rely on skilled hands of carpenters masters, the creativity of iron-working women, the skill of glass craftsmen. To this, we combine our passion and ability to assemble and tell.
